Sold Exclusively in Stores: Ebisu Financier
Our signature Financiers with the added taste of large Dainagon adzuki beans baked into them.
The Dainagon adzuki beans have been carefully soaked in syrup to give them a pleasant texture and just the right amount of sweetness.
Furthermore, they have long been considered an auspicious food because they don’t split open even when boiled and their red color is said to ward off evil spirits.
Ebisu Financiers are made with this auspicious ingredient. They’re donated to Nishinomiya Shrine, which is dedicated to Ebisu, the god of good fortune. The shrine is famous for its “lucky man” race held at the beginning of the year. The offerings are made with wishes for business success and happiness to those who consume them.
The lucky Ebisu Financiers make wonderful presents for business situations.
