Sold Exclusively in Stores: Matcha Green Tea Financier Tenho
The Financier is a longtime favorite of Henri Charpentier.
To craft a culinary gem that sophisticatedly blends deep, rich flavor with the inherent sweetness and aroma of Uji green tea, we engaged Higashi Genbei, who is a rank-10 tea master, the highest title held by a mere 15 tea masters in all of Japan. Together, we meticulously selected tea leaves from the matcha green tea production site of southern Kyoto and created our own blend.
This Financier is made with Tenho, a matcha green tea for eating that we newly developed for making sweets.
